Emily Porter

Emily joined ISP in October 2018 to help lead the development of The Learning Hub and, subsequently, moved with her family to the UK to take on the role of Group Deputy Director of Learning and Education. In doing so, she retained responsibility for bringing the Learning Hub to life, seeing through the launch in October 2019.  Emily has worked in the education sector for 25 years and has considerable breadth of experience and expertise, including, for the first 10 years, direct experience leading and teaching in schools. Her more recent roles have included leading the design of the International Middle Years Curriculum; directing an international educational consultancy responsible; and consulting and advising on Blended Learning & Ed Tech as the Vice President of the National Association of Independent Schools in the USA.   Emily understands the value of putting learners and learning at the center of every strategic decision
