Maria Cunningham

Maria Cunningham is Head of Education at the Teacher Development Trust, a national charity for effective professional development in schools and colleges. A former primary school teacher, she now leads the development of tools and programmes focussed on creating staff development culture that helps teachers thrive and students succeed. Maria is a school governor, sat on the Department for Education’s CPD Expert Group and has written for educational publications including TES, SchoolsWeek and SecEd and Headteacher Update.
